Desperate to be different
Desperately indifferent
But this tolerance is quite strong
And this immunity feels quite wrong
The calamity of time
Has no room for a selfless mind
Which was once intertwined
With a relative reality of mine
Deep thinker, analyze this
Can you comprehend these words and
Is there no existence for these burdens
To exist beyond your falsifying curtains
Raindrops are few in the desert sand
Leaving thirst for life to leave this man
To settle back to where it began
To a place where no one stands
Where no one dares to stand
Help, be on your way
No more broken promises, if that's okay
For the pursuit of happiness in dismay
Can all of that please end today?
The intricate effects of love and belief
Are too entangled with hopelessness and grief
And once a hint of disaster shows relief
An intricate storm will break that peace
Upon these shoulders
I lay a platform for boulders
Empty or loaded
I, the beholder, must hold it
I am readily expecting worse for the worse
But look at it as a blessing instead of a curse
To stand alone when all will disburse
My test of self-importance to my living-earth
Beautiful person looking for change
There is nothing inside to rearrange
Prioritize what's right, in sight, in range
There is more to life than going through pain
